The worst part is, now, for the second time in how many years, the tax payers are going to wasteRead More money defending against this lawsuit (some guy wanted athe1st or something a while back) Fire the nit-witts who are doing these veto's so that we can save their salaries and the legal costs and put it towards our sadly lacking educational system. I'll bet this employee only had half day public kindergarten and no public preschool. (ok, off topic rant, but c'mon!!!)
Charlie Starr April 20, 2014 at 12:18 am
Well" just remember. There aren't any Athiests in a fox hole! Anyone who has been in combat canRead More tell you that. These Athiest's fail to understand that God is real. They are taught this nonsense in the ultra liberal left wing nut job Universities. We actually pay these people to teach this stuff. The next time you need an Exorcist done, who are you going to call?? Oh and remember, a liberalism is a mental disorder. Check out Michael Savage's book. You may learn something.
Testy McTesterson April 20, 2014 at 05:40 am
Atheists do serve in combat (I know a few). Or is your argument that God is simply what we call ourRead More fear of death? Not very impressive, is it? And isn't Michael Savage the gay-basher who late in life admitted he was just ashamed he had the hots for his fellow male sailors back in the Navy? Conservatism is all hypocrisy, no brains, no heart.

The death penalty certainly cuts down on the record number of incarcerations in America. Enough ofRead More this liberal crap on humane punishment. The word "humane' never enters the minds of these cold blooded killers. What is going to happen if another bombing takes place outside of Texas? Paul Feiner. Patch file photo.
hal samis April 17, 2014 at 08:33 pm
Greenburgh taxpayers must be very happy to see their Town Supervisor once again using TownRead More resources, especially the Town's email list, to promote his latest "flight" of fancy. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad if it were not for the fact that his administration of Greenburgh is a costly one for taxpayers yet Feiner finds time to criticize other governments (NYS, County and now, airlines. Taxpayers with short memories have already forgotten that the Feiner cost them a net $5,500,000 (uninsured portion) in 2013's Fortress Bible Decision in which the Federal judge opined that Feiner is untrustworthy. The vacant 108 affordable housing units (aka "WestHELP" for the previous tenant) have not brought in any revenue to the Town since October 2011 and continue to deteriorate at the Town's expense. Prior to their 10 year Lease expiration, WestHELP brought in $1,200,000 a year in net rent or, $12,000,000 over the 10 year term. In 2008, the County requested (twice) that Feiner sit down to discuses a Lease extension and Feiner (twice) refused. Plug in your own number and multiply by 3 (years) and that is the amount that has not been collected as rent: money which could have been used to reduce taxes or saved programs. And readers should also remember that Feiner has failed to sell the town owned former Frank's site in the four years it has owned it. First Feiner tried to ILLEGALLY lease it (remember $5,000,000 for Greenburgh) but that became as quickly $0 for Greenburgh. Then there was a sale which disappeared when a local bidder topped Feiner's "favored" user's bid of $1,700,000n and a 12 year note for $1,300,000 (if) by an all cash offer of $3,500,000 with the same "if". Next came a scheduled Fall of 2013 Auction which was cancelled in Fall of 2013. And now we have a "show" about picking a Broker or an Auctioneer while the property is still under the cloud of soil contamination and an iffy zoning accommodation. Yes, Feiner needs to find distractions so that taxpayers won't remember that in lieu of proper governance, Feiner spends his time regarding matters beyond his turf. And to top the bad news off, the 2014 Town Budget contains a self-voted raise for Feiner and the Town Council. Are voters aware that the part-time Town Council members (4) each cost taxpayers over $40,000 all-in. Still this salary is below last week's Feiner distraction: Fire District salaries (fyi Fire Districts are not under the control of the Town Supervisor and are responsible only to residents in the Fire District. So once again Feiner has found a willing media destination to hoist his latest rant. Hopefully readers are smarter than the media which host his malarky. Hal Samis
WCSC screen grab shows charges against worker.

HF the charges were dropped. There is a problem because and I quote from the Patch"Lewis saysRead More he never noticed "No Free Re-Fill" signs and admits he had refilled his drink without paying on other occasions" and "On-site construction worker Chris Lewis told WCSC News he didn't know refills at the VA Medical Center in downtown Charleston weren't free."Where did you read that he knew he had to pay for it? No where in the article does he said he knew it.

You know as much as the NYS Troopers can be pricks, you've got to give them some credit.
