There are wonderful sledding hills on the Blue Hill Golf Course, which is town owned property.Read More Years ago, the children could use these hills for sledding, but not any longer. Why??? Can someone from the town answer this question?

Without a doubt the best sledding hill in the area is the big one in the Croton Dam Park. I don'tRead More know what the restrictions are these days but years go the hill was crowded with risk taking sledders. It was a natural for wannabe lugers and bobsledders. We used to take our Cub Scout pack there but it was hard to get the kids to remember the Flexible Flyers don't turn well when airborne. Many trips would end with a quick run to the emergency ward at the Hudson Valley Hospital.
