The Westerly Real Estate Market Report is a monthly statement of the median sales price for homes, the number of sales, the average price per square foot for homes, the number of homes for sale, and the average listing price of Westerly homes for sale.

According to Trulia.com, the median sales price for homes in Westerly for Oct 13 to Jan 14 was $268,250. This represents an increase of 0.8%, or $2,250, compared to the prior quarter and a decrease of 10.6% compared to the prior year. 

Sales prices have appreciated 9.5% over the last 5 years in Westerly. 

Average listing price for homes on Trulia in Westerly was $638,435 for the week ending Jan 08, which represents a decline of 2.4%, or $15,995 compared to the prior week and a decline of 2.8%, or $18,314, compared to the week ending Dec 18. 

Average price per square foot for homes in Westerly was $192 in the most recent quarter.

There are currently 308 resale and new homes in Westerly on Trulia, including 28 open houses, as well as 51 homes in the pre-foreclosure, auction, or bank-owned stages of the foreclosure process.
