The Bronxville Sidewalk Sale

The sidewalk sale take place Friday, Oct. 4 and Saturday, Oct. 5. There will be great bargains throughout the village. Hours will vary by business. Both days you can expect free parking in the Kraft Ave lot, in the Garden Ave lot, and in the metered parking spots along Parkway Road – courtesy of the Village of Bronxville. Tuckahoe: Touch-A-Truck

What kid wouldn’t love to climb aboard a bulldozer, fire truck or ambulance? The Junior League of Bronxville’s Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. will provide an opportunity for children to get hands on with a variety of vehicles-public service, construction, utility, landscaping, transportation, antique cars-all in one place. The event will be held at the Immaculate Conception School Field located at 53 Winterhill Road and White Plains Road (Rte 22) in Tuckahoe, New York.

Eastchester: Autumn Recital

The Friends of the Eastchester Public Library will present an Autumn Recital featuring Samantha McEwen, soprano; and Jon Cunningham, tenor with accompanist Dr. David Fairchild. The event is being held on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 2 p.m. at the Eastchseter Public Library Auditorium. Program selections include music by Schubert, Ellington, Puccini and original compositions by Mr. Cunningham. The program is free and open to the public.

Estate Tag Sale in Eastchester

The sale, at 971 California Road, will be held on Friday, Oct. 4 and Saturday, Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will feature an antique French cloisonné clock and candelabra set, large Atmos Le Coultre clock, sterling silver, European oils and prints, crystal chandelier, doll collection - vintage to antique, plus dollhouses, antique lace,  jewelry, 60s furniture, Venetian mirrors, Judaica books and collectibles, fine china, eclectic furniture, grand piano, and more.
