The Week Ahead: Library Activities for Kids; Village Board Meetings

Monday:

The Eastchester Public Library will hold its End of Summer Reading Game Party tonight. The Dig Into Reading event will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. and will feature a magic show by Steve Woyce, followed by the drawing for the winners of the summer reading raffle. Children in grades kindergarten through fifth grade are welcome.

Tuesday:

The Village of Bronxville Board of Trustees will meet Tuesday night at 6 p.m. The meeting will take place in Village Hall, located at 200 Pondfield Road. The Board will be reviewing the proposed budget of 2013/2014 and voting on final budget plan. For more information, call 914-337-6500.

Wednesday:

Stop by the Eastchester Public Library on Wednesday night to attend the library Board of Trustees meeting. The board will meet from 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Thursday:

The Bronxville Library is hosting Storytime and Craft for children ages three and up at 4 p.m until 5 p.m. Come and listen to a themed story in the Children’s Room, followed by a cut and paste craft in the Yeager Room. Friday:

The new American Girl Doll Movie, “Saige Paints the Sky,” will be shown at the Bronxville Library this Friday afternoon. The movie centers on nine-year-old Saige, a girl with a talent for art, and passionate about horses. Before her new school year Sage finds out that her favorite art class has been cut. Sage decides to take action. It’s a movie for anyone who has ever dreamed big.
