Food, Music, Dancing in the Park; Sundaes for Summer Reading

There's lots of fun left in this summer.

Monday

The Bronxville Library is hosting Sweet Treat Craft this Monday. Children ages three and up will be able to make a multi-layered cake through pasting and drawing. No registration is necessary.  The event will take place in the afternoon from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more information call 914-337-7680.

Tuesday

Israeli Folk Dance Classes are being offered every Tuesday at the JCC on the Hudson. Join Shmulik Gov-Ari and friends from 7:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. at 371 S. Broadway in Tarrytown. Enjoy learning and practicing modern and traditional Israeli dance, music, good exercise and great company. Classes are $10 for members and $13 for non-members. Wednesday

Children who have read 50 books or more this summer at the Bronxville Library will be able to participate in a Sundae Station in the Yeager Room. The tasty event will take place from 3:30 to 5:30. Children three and up are eligible for the Sundae Station. For more information, call 914-337-7680.

Thursday

On Thursday night, head over to Leonard Morange Park from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for a summer concert that will be fun for the whole family. Organized by the Bronxville Chamber of Commerce, this free concert offers food, dancing, music and fun. Come hungry and enjoy your dinner and desert all fresco, as local Bronxville food vendors serve you while you enjoy the music of Vintage Kings. Friday

Robert the Guitar Guy (Robert Markowitz) is a children’s singer, guitarist, songwriter, educator and recording artist who has written over six dozen children’s songs, and has three CD’s.
