Thursday, Oct. 10
  • In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, cancer survivors and Lawrence Hospital Center's Cancer Care Team will be modeling the latest fall fashions at "An Enchanted Evening" on Oct. 10. The event is open to the public, and will be held at the Lake Isle Country Club, located at 660 White Plains Road in Eastchester. More details here.
  • There is no school for students in the Bronxville School District on Friday due to a scheduled Superintendent's Conference Day
Friday, Oct. 11
  • Eastchester's Columbus Day celebration will be held at Lake Isle Country Club, located at 660 White Plains Road in Eastchester at 6 p.m. It's also being held on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 1 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 12 at 1 p.m. and Monday, Oct. 14 from 1 p.m.to 6 p.m. The parade is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 13 at 3:30 p.m.
  • Join Francine Segan, author of Pasta Modern, for an amusing talk on the history of pasta, interesting regional dishes, and what’s cutting edge in Italy today. The talk is being given at the Westchester Italian Cultural Center, located at One Generoso Pope Place in Tuckahoe at 6:30 p.m. More details here.
