Benefit for Jansen Hospice Held in Bronxville

Organizers of Jansen Hospice's Spring Event say that they were able to raise close to $77,500 during their benefit. The event was held at John and Christine Fitzgibbons home in Bronxville.

Jansen Hospice and Palliative Care provides assistance and services to the terminally ill, who want to live out the rest of their lives at home. The Spring Benefit was the largest one yet, with more than 250 people purchasing tickets to the event.

Event Co-Chairs Emily Liggitt and Katie Hood spearheaded the Spring Benefit.

"Jansen is such an amazing organization that has been in the community for close to 30 years," said Hood. "It is incredible how the support given to the May Benefit translates into our organization being able to offer exceptional personalized care and support to patients and their family members as they come to terms with serious life-threatening conditions."

Jansen Hospice and Palliative Care, which is located in Scarsdale, helps more than 500 patients each year.
