Sports Round-Up: Bronxville Boys’ Lacrosse Opens with Three Wins
Plus, Tuckahoe wins Bronxville baseball tournament.
Boys’ lacrosse
Bronxville 11, Pelham 2: On April 8, Bronxville ran its early season record to 3-0 as Charlie McCormick scored five times. Henry Grass had three goals and Jack Grass added two for the Broncos. Eric Pass stopped five Pelham shots on goal and the Broncos’ defense stifled the Pelicans.
White Plains 17, Eastchester 9: Tom Cirillo scored five of the Eagles’ goals and Rob Carinci added two scores in the April 8 loss. The Eagles record stands at 2-3.

Baseball
Bronxville 12, Dover 6: In the first round of the Bronxville Tournament, Jackson Conway went 4 for 4 and drove in two runs in the Broncos’ victory. Nick Faselt had three hits and Nick Janney added two hits for Bronxville. Ned Kister (1-0) earned the victory on the mound in the April 8 game.

Eastchester 5, Pleasantville 3: Eagles’ pitcher Kyle Crimmins (1-0) allowed seven hits and one earned run over seven innings to earn the victory on April 8. Adam Schrbnic had three hits for Eastchester, which ran its record to 1-1.
Tuckahoe 8, Bronxville 1: In the championship game of the Bronxville Tournament played on April 9, Alex Melendez (1-0) struck out eight and pitched a complete game to earn the victory on the mound and added three hits. L.J. Gallo added two for the winners. Jackson Conway drove in the lone Bronxville run.
Softball
Clarkstown North 3, Eastchester 2: Christiana Galella and Danielle Cacciola had one hit apiece in the April 8 loss. Eagle’s pitcher Janine Lalli struck out seven in the loss.
