Tennis superstar John McEnroe is coming to Eastchester on Saturday. McEnroe will be visiting as part of a tennis clinic at Eastchester's Sportime. The session will run from 10 a.m. until noon.
"It is the time of the year when the whole area is talking tennis, with the start of the US Open coming — and we are excited to have John come to Lake Isle for what will be a memorable experience for all involved," said Eric Fromm, Sportime's managing director for Long Island and Westchester.
McEnroe won seven Grand Slam singles titles. He snatched up four of those titles at the U.S. Open. The other three were won at Wimbledon. The 54-year-old turned pro in 1978 and retired back in 2006.
