In a game that yesterday, the Iona Gaels fell to their in state rival Hofstra last night 83-75. The Iona Collage Women’s team also fell on the road 75-50 at Colgate.
In High School basketball Holiday tournaments continued to be played across the Hudson Valley. The Slam Dunk Challenge wrapped up yesterday at the Westchester County Center as New Rochelle edged out Kennedy 56-55 to take home a third place finish in the boys bracket. On The girl’s side of things Irvington beat Mount Vernon 77-52 for the tournament Championship.
