Daily Sports Digest: Athletes Declare for College

Bronxville’s field hockey and girl’s soccer teams are two of the only fall teams still alive for a state championship. Most other schools are solely concentrating on winter athletics and preseason workouts.

Currently many young students across Westchester and Rockland counties are signing their national letters of intent to continue their academic and athletic careers at the next level.

Here is a list of some of the signings that Patch has already witnessed:

Ursuline School’s will be playing softball at Lafayette College.

New Rochelle’s will swim for Arkansas.

Pearl River’s will play basketball at Fairfield.

Pearl River’s will play basketball at Southern Connecticut State.

Pearl River’s will play lacrosse at Pearl River.

Clarkstown South’s will play lacrosse at Rutgers.

Clarkstown South’s will swim at Binghamton University.

Clarkstown South’s will play lacrosse at American University.

Clarkstown South’s will play basketball at Saint Anselm College.

Clarkstown South’s will swim at the University of Pennsylvania.
