Concordia College Tennis Picks Up Two Wins

Led by Luisa Candido of Boca Raton, FL, at No. 1 singles, the women’s tennis team at Concordia College in Bronxville picked up two Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference wins—9-0 over Post University at the Meyers Tennis Center in Bronxville, and 5-4 over Chestnut Hill in Philadelphia, PA.
Candido sealed the win against Chestnut Hill in 6-1, 6-2 fashion. The Clippers will compete Saturday, Sunday and Monday at the ITA East Regionals at the Legacy Youth Tennis Center in Philadelphia. Danielle Knott of Mount Vernon is a senior team captain for the Chestnut Hill Griffins.
