Bronxville's Concordia Gets New Soccer Coach

Concordia has named Sean Kenny as its new men's soccer head coach this afternoon. This will be the second time that Kenny has worked with the program. He previously served as the men's soccer head coach from 1987 to 1994.

“I am hoping to build a soccer program that the college and its students will be proud of,” says Kenny. “The nucleus of an already successful team is in place and I look forward to working with the players.”

Kenny is making the move from the Scarsdale Youth Soccer Club. He has been the director of coaching for the program since 2010. While there, he was responsible for overseeing 20 professional coaches, 45 teams and 700 players from the club.

Before heading up the Scarsdale program, Kenny led FC Westchester teams to two national championship titles. Kenny has also served as assistant coach at St. John's University.
