Westchester County Town Ranks Among 'Best Small Towns for Food'

Written by Krista Madsen

The Daily Meal, a food and drink website, has announced their annual list of best small towns to eat in the country, and our villages rank among them.

The criteria is as follows: "Towns that were included on the list have a variety of restaurants in the region with a focus on local, fresh, and seasonal ingredients as well as a flair for culinary creativity. They also have a population of fewer than 300,000 residents."

Among the other contenders are places from Hilton Head Island, SC, to Rockland, ME.

We certainly have less than 300,000 people and we enjoy a good amount of great dining here in the villages. The editors of Daily Meal cite our lovely Stone Barns, Mint Premium Foods and Coffee Labs Roasters as a few of the notable reasons we made the list.

What restaurants here do you think best fit this "local, fresh and seasonal" with "culinary creativity" description?
