New French Restaurant Bistro Parisien Opens in Eastchester

Eastchester has a new French restaurant, called Bistro Parisien, located in the space previously occupied by Jackie's Bistro.

Bistro Parisien, a new French restaurant owned by Stephane and Maria Kane, officially opened recently with a reception hosted by the Tuckahoe/Eastchester Chamber of Commerce.

Located at 434 White Plains Road in Eastchester, the restaurant took over the space formerly held by Jackie’s Bistro.

Stephane Kane, owner of Bistro SK on City Island, brings a wealth of experience to the new venture. He was born in France and attended three years of culinary school. And he has worked in France, Belgium, Germany, the Caribbean and New York for some of the industry’s leading chefs, such as Daniel Boulud (Daniel), Alain Ducasse (The Essex House, Mix), Phillippe Bertinaux (Payard) and Mario Batali (Del Posto).
