Dr. Bart Linehan, Principal and Tuckahoe High School proudly announced this week that Robert Liebowitz and Min-Kyu Shin, both seniors, have been named "Commended Students" in the 2013 National Merit Scholarship Program.
“Both Liebowitz and Shin represent some of the best and brightest minds in the country as demonstrated by their outstanding performance in this highly competitive program,” remarked Dr. Linehan.
A Letter of Commendation from the school and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, which conducts the program, was presented by Dr. Linehan to these scholastically talented seniors.
About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being
recognized for their exceptional academic promise and students with the "Commended" distinction placed among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2013.
