Superstorm Sandy has thrown a wrench into our children's winter break this year. The administration cut out three of next week's vacation days due to the time off during the storm.
Instead of getting the whole week off, students will now have to show up on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Now, they will only have Monday and Friday to enjoy their winter break.
The administration made the move back in November. At that time, officials also said that the following days off could be on the chopping block, if there are any more school closures caused by bad weather. Please note that these days are in the order that they would be restored to "instructional days."
