Tuckahoe School Spending Plan, Trustee Election Ballot Votes on May 20

The following announcement is from Dr. Barbara Nuzzi, Tuckahoe Superintendent of Schools:

At their April 22nd meeting, the Tuckahoe Union Free School District Board of Education adopted a budget for the 2014-2015 school year. This budget will be up for community vote on May 20, 2014 along with a trustee election for two (2) open seats on the Board of Education. Please find below community events and opportunities to learn more:

May 5: PTA sponsored Budget Q&A, Tuckahoe Community Center at 6:30pm
May 6: PTA sponsored Budget Q&A, TMS/THS Cafeteria at 7pm
May 7: PTA sponsored Meet the Candidates Forum, in TMS/THS Auditorium at 7pm May 12: PTA sponsored Budget Q&A, Cottle Auditorium at 8:45am
May 12: Board of Education Public Hearing, TMS/THS Library at 7:45pm

District residents planning to vote in the 2014-2015 Tuckahoe Union Free School District Budget Vote and Trustee Election must be registered. Qualified residents with the appropriate identification and residency proofs may register to vote on May 7, 2014 between 3pm and 7pm at William E. Cottle School, Tuckahoe Community Center, and Union Corners (Chester Heights) Fire House.

Polls will be open on May 20, 2014 from 6am to 9pm at the following election district poll places: District A- Tuckahoe Community Center, District B- William E. Cottle School, District C- Union Corners (Chester Heights) Fire House.
