The Bronxville School Foundation Announces 2013 Grant Cycle

Each year, the Foundation raises funds from school families, alumni, and the community to support projects that enrich the educational experience of students Kindergarten through Grade 12.

The Bronxville School Foundation is pleased to announce the start of its 2013 grant cycle. Each year, the Foundation raises funds from school families, alumni, and the community to support projects that enrich the educational experience of students Kindergarten through Grade 12. The Foundation invites faculty, administrators, staff, students, parents, and community members to submit grant requests.

Since its inception in 1991, the Foundation has awarded over $5.2 million in grants that focus on pursuing innovative ideas, piloting new programs, and providing equipment and facilities in areas of science, arts, athletics, technology, and curriculum development.

“We look forward to receiving grant applications that will foster a challenging, creative, and enriched educational environment for Bronxville students,” says Christine Fitzgibbons, who heads the Grants Committee this year. “The Committee is happy to provide help in developing and researching ideas.”

The grant application with guidelines, as well as descriptions of grants that the Foundation has funded in the past, can be found on the Foundation's website. The deadline for all applications is Monday, March 4, 2013.
