Seeking Bronxville School Trustee Candidates

Applications must be received by February 20.

If you're thinking about being a Bronxville school trustee candidate, or know someone who is, now is the time to get the ball rolling. Those interested should contact Bronxville’s Committee for Non-Partisan Nomination and Election of School Trustees (NPC) immediately.

The nominating process begins this month. NPC Chair Won Giuriceo says that the committee is tasked with a very important mission.

“The NPC was formed by the community to serve as a citizen search committee entrusted with the task of seeking out and recommending for election those who the committee collectively believes are the most qualified candidates to
serve on the School Board," said Giuriceo.  "Each committee member contributes his/her views as to what makes the ideal candidate."

Applications must be received by February 20. In March, the NPC will do interviews. And on April 2 the NPC will nominate candidates, which will be put on the ballot for the district-wide election.

For more information contact NPC Chair Won Giuriceo at wgiuriceo@gmail.com or (914) 346-5389 or Vice Chair Joan Gasior at joangasior7@gmail.com or (914) 787-8550.
