Sarah Lawrence Gets Zipcars
The car-sharing company will use part of one of Sarah Lawrence's parking lots for their rental cars.
Sarah Lawrence students and people in the Bronxville, Eastchester and Tuckahoe area now have a new car rental option. The college has allowed Zipcar to use part of its Wrexham Road parking lot for their car rentals.
Zipcar is a car-sharing company that lets its members reserve autos at their various locations. People can rent by the hour or by the day.
The company was founded back in 2000. Since then, Zipcar has amassed more than 11,000 vehicles in the U.S. and other countries. It also has 767,000 members worldwide.

Other companies that provide car-sharing services are Enterprise's WeCar, Daimler's Car2Go, UHaul's U Car Share and Hertz on Demand.
Zipcar will have a Honda Civic and a Ford Focus that will be available for members to rent at the Sarah Lawrence lot. For more information go to Zipcar's website.
