It's another great event for the little ones at Waverly, the First Grade Reading Campout. Here are the details from the school.
All first grade students who have RSVP’d are invited to return to school on Friday evening for our reading campout. Come dressed in your most comfortable PJs (and sneakers, for safety reasons) to hear some stories and do a craft in your classroom. And, don’t forget to bring along your favorite stuffed animal!
Children will be having a smores treat in the classroom. We will be using Golden Grahams Cereal, marshmallows and chocolate chips for this snack. Parents of students with dietary restrictions should send children with a snack.
Please note that this is not a drop-off event. As you enter with your child, we will have check-in lists for each class. At least one parent or adult guardian is required to remain on the premises for the duration of the event (approx 45-min).
Coffee and refreshments will be served in the gym. Dismissal is anticipated to start at 7:45 p.m
