The Bronxville School District will dismiss students early Wednesday for the Thanksgiving Recess, according to officials.
All schools are slated to close at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. In Tuckahoe, the high school and middle school will hold an 11:07 a.m. dismissal, while William E. Cottle (elementary) School will close at 11:30 a.m.
Eastchester schools will also stagger their early dismissals, with Greenvale and the high school and middle schools closing at 11 a.m., and Anne Hutchinson and Waverly closing at 11:30 a.m.
Schools in all three districts are scheduled to reopen at the normal time on Monday, Dec. 2.
There is a slight chance that Wednesday's schedule could be impacted by the windy, wintery-mix storm headed toward the area from the southwest.
The storm, called Boreas, is expected to hit the area on Wednesday and end by Thanksgiving, but it has already caused travel delays in other parts of the nation.
