Bronxville Schools Closed Thursday

Bronxville Schools will be closed for a fourth day in a row due to Hurricane Sandy.

Students and teachers will have another day to clean-up from Hurricane Sandy as school officials announced that classes will be cancelled on Thursday Nov. 1 in Bronxville.

The district did release a statement, aying that despite the closure, much work is being done to prep the Bronxville School for when students and teachers return.

"We have nearly completed the process of moving back furniture, equipment, and materials in order to make the first floor fully functional," this after the district took precautions in the event of flooding at the Bronxville School, where in the end, the facility saw no flooding at all.
