Bronxville School District Upgrades

The Bronxville School District is working on a number of project to upgrade its facilities for students and teachers. The building of a press box and concession stand is underway at the sports field. Also at the field, a bleachers are being replaced.

The Bronxville Board of Education has approved of an asbestos abatement project. The project is connected to the science and auditorium renovation projects. 

"This accelerated approach, recommended by our architects and construction manager, will increase the likelihood of renovating the science labs with minimal disruption to school operations next summer," said Superintendent David Quattrone.

The District's Board has okayed a study that will analyze the feasibility of lights for Chambers Field. The results of the study will be looked at this fall. 

A FEMA project to prevent flooding in the area was approved by the Village of Bronxville. The project's goal is to protect the school grounds and village from flooding.
