Bronxville's Behrens Heading to Georgetown

The Village's lacrosse superstar is set to go to Washington, DC after he graduates from Bronxville High.

 

Bronxville's junior attackman Matt Behrens is heading to Georgetown University, according to LaxLessions. Behrens has made a verbal commitment to the Washington, DC university.

Behrens will get a chance to play for Georgetown Coach Kevin Warne. Behrens isn't the only Bronxville player that is heading for Division 1 play. Sophomore attackman Henry Grass is set to go to Johns Hopkins. Junior midfielder Will Duncan will go to Providence. Senior midfielder Brewster Warble has his sights set on Brown. And seniorattack man Jack Grass appears to be heading to Johns Hopkins.

"The chance to play for (Georgetown) Head Coach Kevin Warne, Assistant Coach Matt Rewkowski and Assistant Coach Brian Phipps is very exciting," Behrens told LaxLessons. "They have a high energy program and I could see myself really fitting in there. Additionally, Washington, DC is an exciting place to go to school."
