Bronxville Kindergarten Open House

School district parents will learn about the kindergarten program at Bronxville Elementary School and the registration process.

The Bronxville School District is holding an open registration period for the parents of children who will be entering kindergarten in September 2013.

The registration period will take place between Feb. 1 and March 1 between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. each day, except for the week of Feb. 18 through 22 when the school will be closed for winter recess.

Following the kindergarten orientation meeting on Jan. 30 in the Bronxville High School auditorium, parents should call Mary Reilly at the elementary school office at 914-395-0500, ext. 1304, to schedule a registration time.

- Two forms of proof of residence (either a tax bill, a contract of sale or a lease)
- Child's birth certificate
- A current immunization record, updated by a New York State certified physician.

After completing registration, children will be scheduled for a D.I.A.L. (Developmental Indicators for the Assessment of Learning) assessment and a kindergarten afternoon visit. These programs take place in the spring.
