Bronxville High Principal Retiring

In a letter to parents, Bronxville High School's principal says he will be stepping down.

Bronxville High Principal Terence Barton has told parents that he is stepping down, according to My Hometown Bronxville. Barton made the announcement in an email to the high school's parents. Here is that email.

Hello Everyone - -

I would like to inform you that I have made the decision to retire from my position as High School Principal, at the end of the current academic year.

Bronxville High School is a special place and I have enjoyed serving as Principal for the past seven years. The faculty, staff and community are top notch, and I am proud of the success and progress we have made together across many areas of our school.

I want you to know that it has truly been an honor working with you and for you. The years I have spent in Bronxville and the memories that have been created here will be treasured for the rest of my life.

I look forward to doing all I can to make the transition to a new principal as smooth as possible. However, for me, the time has come to step away and concentrate on enjoying my family. Thank You, T. Barton
