ADHD Explained at Cottle School

A large number of both parents and educators attended the event.

Noted ADHD expert Robert Tudisco was the guest speaker at the William E. Cottle School in Eastchester. Mr Tudisco was invited by Tuckahoe SEPTA to address ADHD with interested parents and educators. Mr. Tudisco is the Executive Director of the Edge Foundation, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and young adults with ADHD.

A large number of both parents and educators attended the event and was deemed a great success by the SEPTA sponsors.

“Mr. Tudisco gave an insightful presentation on the subject and provided tangible information for us to work with and be aware of when dealing with ADHD children in our home and in the classroom” said SEPTA Co-Chair Mary Moran. 

Mr. Tudisco spoke for over one hour and covered the many different challenges children with ADHD are faced with in both their schools and at home. He has been published in "ATTENTION Magazine" and is a practicing attorney and an adult diagnosed with ADHD.

“The benefit Mr. Tudisco’s presentation  ]brought to our community is that he has experienced first- hand the effects of ADHD and his success demonstrates to everyone that it is not something to hide from”, said Moran.
