The thought of having school cancelled twice in two weeks, once for a Hurricane and once for a snow storm is baffling even for meteorologists, but that very scenario may soon play out as a Nor'easter is blanketing Bronxville-Eastchester with snow and wind.
Here are the current advisories for our area issued by the National Weather Service:
- Winter Weather Advisory until 6 a.m on Thursday Nov. 8 with accumulations expected to be between 2-4 inches of snow.
- High Wind Warning until 4 a.m. on Thursday Nov. 8 with winds of 25-35mph with gusts up to 60mph.
- Coastal Flood Warning until 7 a.m. on Thursday Nov. 8.

The Village of Bronxville put out a statement today regarding the weather, stating that, "winds of this magnitude, coupled with areas that receive accumulating snowfall may result in power outages becoming likely in Bronxville."
