7:35 a.m.: MTA: Until further notice, Metro-North service is suspended due to the severity of the Winter Storm.

Friday 9:13 p.m.: MTA: Metro North train service will be suspended until further notice after the running of the following trains. The last northbound train will be the 10:05 PM train from Grand Central making all stops to Poughkeepsie arriving at 11:57 PM.

The last Southbound train will be the 9:59 PM train from Poughkeepsie making all stops to Grand Central arriving at 12:09 AM.

Friday 6:00 p.m: The Spaghetti Cabaret scheduled for tonight at the Bronxville Women's Club is now rescheduled for Sunday, Feburary 10, at 5 pm.

Friday 2:30 p.m.: Eastchester Town Hall offices are now closed due to the snow.

Friday 1:21 p.m.: Shoulder blocked due to accident on Sprain Brook Parkway Southbound at Central Park Avenue.

Friday 12:42 p.m.: Left hand shoulder blocked and one lane blocked due to serious accident on Sprain Brook Parkway Northbound at Jackson Avenue. 

Friday 10:22 a.m.: The Immaculate Conception school show "If You Can Make it Here," originally scheduled this weekend, has been postponed due to the weather. It has been rescheduled for February 23 and 24th.

Friday 8:19 a.m.: Accident on I-87 Southbound at I-287.

Friday 8:05 a.m.: Here is the latest mass transit from MTA: The predicted severity of the winter storm... will require Metro-North to change its scheduled service. These changes are in anticipation of providing the best service to ensure your safety.

There will be extra trains during the early afternoon to help customers return home. This schedule will result in reduced service during the PM peak. Train combinations and cancelations are possible at any time, but increase in likelihood as the evening progresses to prevent trains from becoming stranded during the storm. Friday 6:02 a.m.: Tuckahoe Schools will be closing today for a half day as follows:

-    11:07 AM Middle School/High School Dismissal
-    11:30 AM Cottle Elementary School Dismissal

Friday 6:01 a.m.: Bronxville schools will start at their normal times today. But the Elementary School will dismiss at 11:30 a.m. and the High School and Middle School will dismiss at noon.

Friday 6:00 a.m.: Due to the impending storm, there will be early dismissal today for Eastchester students. The dismissal schedule will be as follows,

• Greenvale school will dismiss at 10:30 am
• Middle and High Schools will dismiss at 10:51 am
• Waverly and Anne Hutchinson schools will dismiss at 11:15 am.

Friday 5:59: a.m.: Blizzard warning in effect until 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Friday 5:55: a.m: The National Weather Service says that we will be getting up to 3-7 inches of snow possibly today. Forecasters say it will be breezy, with a northeast wind 13 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph.
