Release: Colavita Leads Republican Ticket into Eastchester Fall Elections

This message was sent by the Eastchester Republican Town Committee.

Supervisor Anthony S. Colavita announced his bid for re-election as Town Supervisor together with Town Councilman Glenn Bellitto, Town Councilman Joseph Dooley, Town Clerk Linda Doherty, Receiver of Taxes Rocco Cacciola , Town Justices Domenick Porco and Janet Calano and County Legislator Sheila Marcotte.  Supervisor Colavita recited an extensive list of accomplishments and delineated the ticket’s vision for the future of the town and its two villages.  He cited an excellent tax record despite sky rocketing mandates and plummeting revenues.

Supervisor Colavita stated, “ Many elected officials would be satisfied with the record of accomplishments that we have established, but that has never been our way.  We will continue to make Eastchester better together as our community progresses”.

Supervisor Colavita also stated, “Tough economic times call for competent leadership and that is exactly what this ticket will provide the good citizens of Eastchester, Bronxville and Tuckahoe”.

Councilman Glenn Bellitto focused on his accomplishments as a Town Board member and leader in our community.  He pledged to continue his hard work and determination to make Eastchester even better.  “I want to do my part to maintain and enhance the quality of life in Eastchester, Bronxville and Tuckahoe, while keeping taxes down.  We need to continue to look at ways for our 3 communities to share expenses to lower taxes.”

Councilman Joseph Dooley pledged his commitment to the Town Board based upon his professional background and community involvement . “I'm honored to have this opportunity to serve the Town of Eastchester and look forward to leveraging my background and abilities in helping to push forward the great work being accomplished by the Administration.    I look forward to a vigorous campaign,  meeting with residents and finding out their concerns” stated Councilman Dooley.
