New Bronx River Parkway Closures Today

There will be new road closures on the Bronx River Parkway beginning tonight. The closures will happen at exit 12, as well as on the southbound entrance ramp from Fenimore Road to the southbound parkway. The closure will happen tonight at 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. The same closure will also happen on Wednesday and Thursday.

"These closures are in addition to previously announced daytime northbound closures on the parkway from the Sprain Brook Parkway in Yonkers to the Westchester County Center in White Plains currently underway weekdays until Friday, July 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m," said Westchester County Deputy Communications Director Donna Greene.

The Crane Road Bridge construction project started last summer. Officials say it will take three years to complete.
