Commuters, be prepared for a small snag in the daytime drive tomorrow.
On Wednesday, Oct. 24, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Thruway Authority is closing the I-87 on-ramp from Mile Square Road in Yonkers.
The NY State Thruway Authority will be doing maintenance on the ramp during the midday hours–weather permitting, the Thruway Authority stated in an announcement.
"Electronic signboards and the Highway Advisory Radio (530 AM) will update motorists about expected delays and alternate routes," the NYSTA stated.
If commuting in the area, leave a bit of extra time and pack some patience. Expect traffic delays in the area.
