The Sister City relationship will be formally announced tomorrow and the program allows for communities to exchange ideas on civic government and to learn from both cities cultures.

Many places in Westchester participate in the Sister City Program and now Eastchester will be getting one of her own as the Town has announced it's participation in the program with Ruvo di Puglia in the province of Bari, Italy.

On Wednesday Aug. 22 at 10:30 a.m., Supervisor Anthony Colavita will meet with Luciano Lamonarca in the Eastchester Town Hall Community Room to announce the Sister City relationship according to a press release sent out by the Town of Eastchester.
