Dunwoodie Field Sees New Life in Eastchester

The popular multi-use field received some much needed work this summer, creating a safer and more visual appealing place courtesy of a donation from the Eastchester Youth Soccer Association.

The Town of Eastchester and The Eastchester Youth Soccer Association (EYSA) have united to improve Dunwoodie Field and maintain a place for young athletes to participate in sports.

The heavily used Dunwoodie Field quietly received a face-lift over the summer with the Eastchester Recreation and Parks Departments utilizing a generous donation from EYSA and helped coordinate a field improvement project.

EYSA Commissioner Gil Aliberto stated that, "the field looks fantastic, it's a huge benefit to kids and families of our organization and to the Town".

The Town of Eastchester applauded the initiative and stressed the importance of field maintenance.

Dunwoodie Field is used by several town organizations as well as neighbors to the park.
