Two Stolen Cars Recovered From Parking Lot Heist

Update at 9:20 a.m.: The Scarsdale Police Department says that, "... members of New York Police Department’s Auto Crimes Unit located the remaining car that had not been recovered, a 2008 Porsche. The vehicle was found parked in good condition in a public parking garage in the University Heights section of the Bronx."

Police found two of the three cars stolen from Scarsdale's Bodyfit parking lot Friday. One of the vehicles was spotted in the University Heights section of the Bronx. The other was found in the same area of the Bronx. Both cars were found inside parking garages over the weekend.

The three vehicles, a 2008 Porsche 911, a 2012 Mercedes Benz 350 Series and a 2011 Mercedes Benz C30, were all parked in the lot in front of 858 Scarsdale Avenue unlocked, with the keys in the vehicles," said Scarsdale Police Det. Lt. Thomas Altizio.

Investigators are still trying to find the third missing car, a Porsche. As they search for the Porsche, police are also looking for at least four suspects in connection with the  car heist.

Three of the suspects jumped into the cars at the same time and sped off, according to authorities. Anyone with information is asked to call Scarsdale Police at 914-722-1200.
