According to Tuckahoe PD, Gladstein was in the victim's home over the last few weeks and allegedly wrote two checks from the woman's checkbook, one for $350 and the other for $2,000, made out to himself.
He deposited the checks in his own bank account, police said.
The bank put a hold on the larger check police said and Gladstein surrendered to village PD on Wednesday Sept. 12. and is due back in court later this month.
