Police: Bronxville Man Choked Woman

A Kraft Avenue resident faces multiple charges in connection with the early morning incident.


A Bronxville man was arrested for allegedly choking a woman at his home on Kraft Avenue, according to lohud.com. 58-year-old William Stewart is accused of knocking the woman down, straddling her and then choking her, according to police.

The incident happened at 1:35 a.m. on Tuesday. Police are not releasing the name of the alleged victim.

Stewart is charged with third-degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing.
He has also been ordered to stay away from the victim.

Stewart is due in Bronxville Village Court on December 19.

Dangerous place, downtown bronxville. I guess it's the "bronx" part of the name that's the problem.
