More Larcenies Reported in Eastchester, Scarsdale, Tuckahoe
Residents' unlocked cars were targets.

Stealing from unlocked vehicles overnight has become a trend in the villages of Bronxville, Scarsdale, Tuckahoe and Eastchester in recent months. This past Tuesday, six Scarsdale residents reported items had been stolen from their vehicles.
Four calls came into the Tuckahoe Police Station on Wednesday morning reporting similar crimes.

Within two hours of each other, a resident of Pleasant Avenue, two residents on Bella Vista Street, and another on Hollywood Avenue all noticed that their vehicles had been ransacked, and loose change was taken.
More of these crimes occurred in Eastchester this week as well.

A householder on White Plains Road called in the Eastchester Police Station at 7:14 a.m. on Aug. 5, claiming that there had been an attempted larceny of their car. The inside of their car had been clearly rummaged with, but nothing was taken.
Another resident on the same street was not as lucky.
The police station got a call from several blocks up White Plains Road at 4:28 p.m. Aug. 6, reporting objects from their car had been taken.
