Man Charged in Brutal Eastchester Bat Attack

Police say the attack happened at a parking lot on Fisher Avenue.

Yonkers resident Alban Gjevukaj is accused of hitting a Scarsdale man in the head with a baseball bat, according to lohud.com. Investigators say it all started when someone from Mickey Spillane's Bar told a number of young people that they were being too loud—and to leave. Then, people starting shouting at each other in a nearby parking lot. Police say Gjevukah then went into his car and took out a baseball bat. The 23-year-old then hit the Scarsdale man in the back of the head.

Authorities say the Scarsdale man had to be taken to the hospital. He had a concussion and hurt his face when he fell to the ground. Police say the unidentified victim was 20-years-old.

Police caught up with Gjevukah in Tuckahoe. They took him to Eastchester where he was charged with assault.

Gjevukah is set to head back to court on January 2, in connection with the Saturday incident.
