Weather Creates Havoc on the roads for Eastchester, Tuckahoe & Bronxville Drivers

10:06 a.m.: ConEd arrives to the scene of sparking wires, on a pole next to the Vernon Hills Shopping Center.

9:38a.m.: Bronx River Parkway south shut down between Chatterton Avenue and Main Street due to flooding.

9:35 a.m.: Police report an accident on the Cross County Parkway near New Rochelle Road.

9:05 a.m.: Use caution if you will be driving on the Saw Mill around Elmsford, as their may be large puddles of water forming on the side of the road.

8:50 a.m.: Police reporting sparking wires on a pole, at the intersection of White Plains Road and Wilmott Road in Eastchester, next to the Vernon Hills Shopping Center. Police have notified Coned about the issue.

8:37 a.m.: Right hand shoulder blocked due to stalled vehicle on Bronx River Parkway Southbound at River Road.

8:35 a.m.: Right hand shoulder blocked due to accident on NY-9A Route 9A Southbound at County HWY-19 Ryder Road in Northern Westchester.

8:34 a.m.: Right hand shoulder blocked due to accident on I-684 Northbound at Exit 3 NY-22.

8:32 a.m. NY-100 Central Avenue Southbound partially blocked due to construction between Campus Place and Washington Avenue.

8:27 a.m.: Right hand shoulder blocked due to accident on Sprain Brook Parkway Northbound at Jackson Avenue.

8:25 a.m.: Crescent Place both ways to Bronx River Parkway exit ramp partially blocked due to construction at Yonkers Avenue. affecting all ramps.

5:00 a.m.: High wind warning in effect until 12 p.m. today, according to the National Weather Service.
