There will be multiple lane closures over the Popham Road Bridge today. The closures will take place between the hours of 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Traffic going west on Popham Road will have to take a detour south on Scarsdale Avenue west to Harney Road. People driving east on Popham Road will have to go South on Garth Road east over to Harney Road, and then onto Scarsdale Avenue before they can get back onto Popham Road.
Contractors working on the bridge's new concrete deck is the reason for the detours. Police will be in the area to help move traffic through the area between the hours of 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
