Eastchester Police arrested a woman for shoplifting atLord & Taylor. Investigator say Nadira Sewah, 20, tried to leave the department store with more than $600 in clothes.
Before she tried to get out of the store, police say she attempted to take off the anti-theft buttons on the clothes she had. But Lord & Taylor's security team caught up with her before she could get away, according to investigators.
The Bronx woman was turned over to Eastchester Police and appeared in Town Court on Wednesday in connection with the Monday incident. Sewah has been released on bail. She is charged with petty larceny.
