Police Agencies Land Drug Bust in Eastchester

Working with other departments around Westchester, Eastchester Police were able to arrest 25 year-old Brian Lattin on two Class "B" Felony charges last week.

 

 

Early on Thursday, July 19, while many resident in Eastchester prepared to start their day,  the with the assistance of the Greenburg Drug and Alcohol Task Force, Tuckahoe Police, Pelham Police and Bronxville Police, executed a search warrant at 7 Winding Lane.

Upon arrival, Brian Lattin, 25, was arrested and charged with two Class "B" felonies according to Eastchester Police Chief Timothy Bonci.

The charges were criminal sale of a Controlled Substance in the third degree and Criminal sale of a Controlled Substance in or near School Grounds.

Also confiscated at the residence was marijuana, various prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia. 

The warrant execution was the culmination of a narcotics investigation by the Town of Eastchester Detective Division into reported drug sales.  The Eastchester Police was assisted in the investigation by the Greenburgh Police Department Drug & Alcohol Task Force.

Chief Bonci stated in a press release that, "Eastchester Police are committed to ensure that this type of illegal activity is dealt with appropriately, and that we are determined to take any steps necessary to ensure that we will aggressively combat illegal drug activity with all available resources." 

"It also is an example of how Police Agencies can cooperatively pool their resources on investigations for a more effective resolution," he continued.
