The Ballerina Ball-Nutcracker Day

The Tuckahoe Community Center will open its doors to all children, ages 3-8, to ring in the holiday season and to celebrate the family favorite Nutcracker Ballet with an enchanting and interactive party. Join Clara in her favorite afternoon of the year, where each guest will be greeted with treats and stations for the craft making of charming Nutcracker and winter keepsakes. Post crafting and storytelling, the young guests will be greeted by the snow queen, adorned in white tulle and diamonds to escort them into a whirling snowstorm of dancing snowflakes. Accompanied by the tunes of Tchaikovsky and learning the steps of the snowflakes, the Sugar Plum Fairy applauds the young dancers’ performance alongside the wintery queen and brings them into a room filled with everything sweet. Pre-professional and professional dancers will entertain each guest with a series of short performances, highlighting the Nutcracker’s most beloved characters. Holiday refreshments, giveaways and raffles from local businesses will top off this magical afternoon.
Admission to The Ballerina Ball's Nutcracker Day is $35 per child and pre-registration is required by Thursday, December 12. The event is for ages 3-8 years old and will take place at the Tuckahoe Community Center- 71 Columbus Avenue in Tuckahoe, NY. Applications available at www.eastchester.org
