A Sunny Weekend Ahead

The last Bronxville Farmers’ Market of the Winter Season is happening tomorrow, and we’re as excited to go pick up some pickles as we are that it’s, well, the last Farmers' Market of the Winter Season.   Soon the locally grown produce, bakery items, and organic meats will be back in the open, down on Stone Place. 

Here are a few more notes on the days ahead….

- Kensington Paper, the erstwhile stationary store, returns to Kraft Avenue soon – a look in the windows (at the former spot) the other day confirmed that the opening is imminent.

-  We’re looking forward to “Krazy on Kraft” tomorrow.  As Bronxville Chamber of Commerce Director Peggy Conway , there will be a lot of specials and activities from the merchants on Kraft Avenue, including , , and . 

- The weekend looks sunny, which is a good reminder that before summer is upon us in full force, you might consider getting a skin cancer screening.  dermatologists will perform free screenings in May – just call Joanne Lewis at 914-787-5050 for dates and times.

- Finally, our thoughts are with the folks over at .  Owner Alfredo Cruz passed away on Wednesday.  We spoke with Alfredo a couple times for wine-related stories, and found him to be a gregarious, engaging guy.  He will be missed.
