Having grown up in the shadow of Bronxville near in Yonkers, I could not be more passionate and filled with excitement as I embark on my new position as Local Editor for Bronxville-Eastchester Patch.
I wrote my first article for Patch in October of 2010, covering a and since then, I have written hundreds of articles, all of them dealing with a variety of issues that affect daily life such as government, education, healthcare, awareness and the arts.
After spending over a year as a freelance writer for Patch sites around Westchester, I gained an understanding of some of the best ways to engage an audience using digital media and the types of articles readers like you look for.
Prior to Patch, I worked in the Education field, attaining not only a certification as an Elementary School teacher, but also receiving a Masters in Secondary Education and becoming a certified History teacher.
Being lucky enough to grow up in the Bronxville-Eastchester area, my family patronized many of the businesses that still exist today, from and in Tuckahoe, to summers at and some of the best sicilian pizza I have ever tasted, served at the legendary Periello's Pizza in Bronxville which now is called .
