LEGO's, Anime, Pickles, and More in Bronxville

Lots of events on tap in Bronxville this weekend.

It’s gonna be warm again this weekend, and if the threat of thunderstorms doesn’t drive you inside, the threat of just might.   Not to worry, the will have you and the kids covered, literally, with a couple of fun events on Saturday.

First up is The LEGO Club at 10 a.m. in the library’s Yeager Room.  Designed for children aged 5 – 12, the session will focus on building a LEGO project based on a Wild West theme.

Definitely fun for kids, and the best part for parents is that the LEGO’s stay at the library,  so you won’t be stepping on them barefoot late at night.  There is no worse form of pain.

Next up is the Anime Club, at 11:30 a.m., also in the Yeager Room (watch out for stray LEGO’s, you barefoot anime fans) which will feature a TV show screening appropriate for kids in grades 6 and up.  The event runs until 1p.m.

Don’t forget the down on Stone Place, on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m., featuring our favorite pickles, apple cider donuts, fresh dayboat fish, and much, much more.

On Sunday, The hosts a reception for the Beaux Arts Finale – an art competition featuring the winners in painting, mixed media, photographic, graphics, and sculpture from local competitions held earlier this year across the county.  The reception starts at 2 p.m. and runs until 5 p.m.

Whatever your weekend plans, enjoy them…we’ll see you next week right here.
